Two editions, one magazine
The retail edition is the one you’ll find on a shop counter and the one you can order here. The culture, the holiday pieces, the stoner-scope, the classifieds, and four pages that are yours alone: your portrait as Reader of the Quarter, a two-page Tourist Tale of a day in the city you’d most like to smoke in, with you as the traveller, and your own jar with your tasting notes. The copy with your pages in it is made to order, one at a time. The photographs go inside, never on the cover, so every copy looks the same on the counter and different in the hand.
The trade edition is for the people behind the counter and the businesses that supply them. Same information, none of the fun, nothing a shopkeeper couldn’t hand to a supplier. It isn’t sold to the public.
The copy you order here is the retail edition with your pages in it. The plain retail edition, without them, is sold from shop counters, never by us, and shops order both editions from us.

What POLYC stands for
No shops named, no prices next to a place to buy, no rankings, no growing instructions, no medical advice, nothing for anyone under 18. The full list is short and it’s public: what we print, and what we don’t. The name means many Cs. Because in vintage cannabis culture, community was civil conviviality.
